Apricus has once again been recognized as a leader in the solar thermal industry. Solar Industries, self-described as the independent source for green business leaders, recently published a supplement to their monthly journal entitled “Top 10 Green Building Products 2007.” Apricus won top prize for its evacuated tube solar thermal system. Judges voted based on performance of competing evacuated tube systems and chose Apricus based on its ability to produce “[water] temperatures as high as 140 degrees F in -20 degree weather.” One of the judges was quoted as saying that Apricus “puts hot water back on the map.”
