Many Solar Decathalon 2007 Entrants Chose Apricus
The 2007 running of the Solar Decathlon is an international competition comprising 20 of the world’s finest colleges and universities. These collegiate teams plan, design, build, and operate unique houses that incorporate high energy efficiency products powered by solar thermal and PV(photovoltaics). Each school will showcase their house on the National Mall in Washington DC October 12-20 2007 for the final judging to see which school earns the title of Solar Decathalon Champion 2007 and $100,000 top prize. All the teams competing in the Solar Decathlon represent a growing global awareness to use renewable energy products and ideas for future home designs.
Numerous companies sponsored this event by donating products and services to the participating schools. This year Apricus was the preferred solar thermal provider of several prestigious schools including:
