SPP30 Gains Canadian Approval, Now Seeking Canadian Installers & Dealers
SPP has received ecoEnergy approval from the government of Canada. The SPP-30 collector now has official approval as meeting the CSA Standard F378-87 which is required for Canada.
This certification is the first step in the company´s strategy for expanding distribution opportunities in the growing Canadian market. The "ecoEnergy Program" is a four-year, $36 million investment from the Canadian government to increase the use of renewable thermal energy by industry, commercial businesses and institutions. The program is designed to encourage businesses, industries and institutions to install active energy-efficient solar air and/or water heating systems.
The SPP-30 is particularly well suited for the colder Canadian climate. That
is because the SPP-30 is the USA´s highest rated 30-tube "evacuated tube
collector". Evacuated tube collectors function very well and make plenty of
hot water even when the outdoor temperature is below zero, which is
frequently the case in the winter in Canada. We look forward to meeting up
with some Canadian resellers and installers to work with as we introduce our
product to Canada.
