Parabolic Trough Solar Thermal Collector

It all started in 1912 with this 55kW collector installed
in Egypt by Dr. Shuman:
Today, see the 64 mW (64,000 kW) plant installed in Boulder City, Nevada (Nevada Solar One).

In the case of Solar One (above) a solar powered steam turbine generator provides enough electricity to Nevada Power Company for 14,000 households.

Parabolic troughs track the sun, concentrating energy so that extreme temperatures can be achieved.

Made in the USA, these systems are available for any commercial, industrial or manufacturing process where high volumes of high temperature (up to 750F) heat is needed.
