Each fully assembled Solar Panels Plus PV module is tested and listed by the Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory program to ensure it meets the Underwriters Laboratories’ standard of UL 1703 for photovoltaic panels. The listing certifies the solar panels are safe and comply with the National Electric Code, OSHA and the National Fire Prevention Association, and will be accepted by local inspectors nationwide and in Canada.
The UL standard also means the performance of the solar panels has been tested and found to perform within 90 percent or more of the manufacturer's power rating. Most—if not all—of the PV panels supplied by Solar Panels Plus carry the CE certification, allowing them to be used throughout Europe as well as in North America.
